Terms & Conditions

The rules for using DevStamp.

DevStamp is currently in beta. The operator's full identifying details are being finalized and will be published here before commercial launch.

Last updated: August 2026

1. Acceptance

By using DevStamp you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

DevStamp analyzes GitHub repositories you select and produces automated, evidence-based skill ratings, and lets you create shareable certificates from your results. Ratings are generated by automated means and are provided for informational purposes only.

3. Accounts

You sign in with your GitHub account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the activity carried out under it. You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use the service.

4. Acceptable use

  • Only analyze repositories you own or that you are authorized to analyze.
  • Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.
  • Do not misrepresent a certificate or present someone else's results as your own.

5. Pricing and payment

Each skill analysis costs €2, or €4 with Deep Verification. New users receive a number of free basic analyses, and you may request a free analysis from the verification page, which is subject to our approval. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.

6. Refunds and right of withdrawal

The service is digital content that is supplied and performed immediately once an analysis starts. By starting a paid analysis you expressly request its immediate performance and acknowledge that, once it has been carried out, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that EU consumer law otherwise grants for digital services.

If a paid analysis fails for technical reasons and does not return a result, contact us at admin@devstamp.dev and we will re-run it or refund that analysis. [Adjust this refund policy to what you want to offer.]

7. Intellectual property

Your source code remains yours; we claim no ownership over it. The DevStamp platform, brand, and design are owned by us. You may share and display the certificates you generate.

8. Disclaimers

DevStamp does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any rating, nor any specific outcome such as employment. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevStamp is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or where required to protect the service or other users.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
